John Walvoord brings extensive experience supporting Steelcase dealerships to his role as Chief Financial Officer with McCoy Rockford.

Prior to joining McCoy Rockford in 2026, John served as the VP of Finance at Texas Wilson, where he built a reputation of disciplined financial leadership, thoughtful strategic planning and trusted partnership with operational teams. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas A&M University and brings prior controller experience in the consulting and advertising industries.

Throughout his career, John has helped strengthen financial visibility and accountability through improved forecasting, reporting, internal controls and business analytics. He is also known for leveraging dealership systems — including Hedberg — to improve job costing and strengthen fiscal performance.

John is active with the Steelcase Finance CoP group. Outside of furniture, he serves on multiple nonprofit boards.
