McCoy Rockford is pleased to welcome Kellie Reed to the company’s executive leadership team as general manager. The new addition reinforces McCoy Rockford’s long-term commitment to the Austin market and continued growth across Texas.
Reed has more than 25 years of experience in commercial interiors, with leadership experience spanning business development, sales and operations that allows her to bring deep expertise to the McCoy Rockford team. Based in Austin, Texas, she will support the company’s work across corporate, education, healthcare, life sciences and government sectors while strengthening relationships within the design and business community.
The University of Phoenix graduate’s career began in business services, where she discovered an early interest in workplace furniture and the impact of the built environment. She went on to advance in the industry, serving in senior roles with nationally recognized furniture dealers.
Throughout her career, she gained a reputation for her relationship-driven approach and passion for creating environments that support people and communities. This is especially reflected by her work in the healthcare sector, where she witnessed firsthand how thoughtful spaces influence patients and their families.
“At its core, the work we do is about people,” said Reed, explaining why joining McCoy Rockford — a company committed to creating meaningful spaces that support growth, productivity and well-being — felt like a natural next step. “McCoy Rockford’s values, its commitment to people and its focus on thoughtful growth resonates with me. I’m excited to work hand-in-hand with the sales team as we build meaningful connections with our customers.”
In her new role, Reed is focused on strengthening internal operations, growing profitability through strategic product and contract alignment, and building lasting connections within the Austin community. She is especially passionate about introducing innovative ideas into the showroom experience and leveraging market research to identify new opportunities for growth.
Reed’s strategic insight and strong sense of partnership make her uniquely suited to lead the Austin market now and into the future, McCoy Rockford Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Mike Luna said.
“Kellie values collaboration and brings a thoughtful approach to fostering teams and client partnerships in a rapidly evolving market,” he explained. “We know she’ll be a true asset, not just to McCoy Rockford, but to our clients as well.”
