McCoy Rockford Appoints Cristy Taylor as Vice President of HR and Employee Experience

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Cristy Taylor as vice president of HR and employee experience. A seasoned HR leader, Taylor has spent more than two decades helping companies navigate growth and transformation.

Taylor began her career strengthening Fortune 500 companies such as Dominion Resources, Deutsche Bank, Halliburton and Mattel through her work at Aon Hewitt. She later held HR leadership roles at ADP Total Source, where she advised more than 200 companies across the Houston area — ranging from startups to established businesses — on strategic growth, change management and employee engagement.

Her professional background includes leading initiatives across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, healthcare, oil and gas, energy, retail, banking, academia, and professional services. She has guided companies through acquisitions, IPOs, divestitures, and periods of hyper-growth, consistently aligning organizational culture with strategic business goals.

CEO Chris Erdeljac said he looks forward to everything the new addition will bring to the company and those it serves.

“Cristy’s diverse expertise and proven leadership in high-growth environments make her an ideal fit for McCoy Rockford as we continue to evolve and expand our footprint,” he said. “Her commitment to people and culture aligns perfectly with our values.”

In her role as vice president of HR and employee experience, Taylor will work closely with McCoy Rockford’s executive team to strengthen organizational development efforts, enhance internal capabilities and ensure that employee experience remains central to the company’s priorities.

Her firsthand knowledge of facilities management and construction adds a unique perspective to her leadership approach.

Taylor will also partner with the leadership team to provide organizational insights drawn from her experience across diverse markets. In addition to leading internal development initiatives, she is focused on coaching and mentoring at the executive level to ensure alignment between McCoy Rockford’s people, strategy and business growth.

“Having made facilities decisions in previous roles as a McCoy Rockford client, I bring a unique perspective — understanding what our clients are navigating, now from both sides,” Taylor said. “This end-user perspective allows me to be a strategic partner to our leadership team as we think through where McCoy Rockford is headed and how we continue delivering exceptional experiences.”

Taylor was drawn to McCoy Rockford not only for the opportunity to lead transformational work, but by the culture already in place.

“What stood out to me about McCoy Rockford was how deeply the organization valued its people,” she said. “From my earliest conversations, it was clear this was a company built on trust, purpose and a strong sense of culture. The level of transparency and accessibility across the leadership team is truly rare.”

Taylor is the author of “Transforming Human Resources: Embracing Change in a New World,” published earlier this year and available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. She is a recognized voice in the field of HR strategy and organizational change and looks forward to contributing to McCoy Rockford’s continued success.
