McCoy Rockford Names Nick Ndah Vice President of Construction

McCoy Rockford is pleased to welcome Nick Ndah, PMP, as vice president of construction. In this newly created role, Ndah will lead the company’s growing construction division as McCoy Rockford continues to expand its comprehensive product and service offerings — delivering integrated solutions that include demountable walls, floor covering, furniture, design support and end-to-end project management.

Ndah maintains more than 20 years of experience across commercial, industrial and residential construction. His diverse background includes senior leadership roles with Pono Builders, Management Controls, Inc. and Amherst, where he led large-scale construction operations and adaptive reuse projects. At Amherst, he oversaw construction operations across 36 markets, delivering new spaces for families, veterans and displaced individuals.

“Every space we build — whether it’s a home or an office — has the power to change lives,” Ndah said. “I’ve always been driven by the tangible impact of construction. You get to see the outcome of your work, and that outcome can make people feel comfortable, secure and inspired.”

His career began in residential homebuilding, where he oversaw the construction of master-planned communities. Since then, his portfolio has evolved into a collection of built environments he’s proud to have shaped. Whether reimagining an old barbecue joint as a co-working space or leading a team through a specialty chemical plant expansion, Ndah brings a deep understanding of both the technical and human sides of construction.

At McCoy Rockford, he’ll apply that experience to help shape the company’s future as a leader in interior construction. While the company has long been known as a premier furniture dealer, primarily through its partnership with Steelcase, Ndah’s role signals a strategic shift toward more fully integrated interior services.

“We’re particularly known for our furniture-focused services,” Ndah said. “We want to be known as ‘the interiors people’ — a team that can bring an entire vision to life from the floor to the ceiling and everything in between.”

Ndah will oversee McCoy Rockford’s partnerships with manufacturers such as Steelcase and Falkbuilt, while maintaining the flexibility to work with a wide range of architectural solutions manufacturers. His vision for the company includes bringing its interior solutions into the constructability conversation earlier — working with design teams to help select products and plan for installation during the earliest phases of a project.

“Nick’s depth of experience and collaborative mindset make him a perfect fit for McCoy Rockford,” CEO Chris Erdeljac said. “As we expand our construction capabilities, he’ll play a key role in transforming how we deliver value to our clients.”

Ndah is passionate about building not only spaces, but teams. A servant leader at heart, he describes his approach as being “both the shield and the sword,” protecting his team when challenges arise and advocating for what they need to succeed.

“I’ve learned that the most powerful thing you can offer as a leader is trust,” he said. “When people know you have their back, they’ll bring their best selves to work every day.”
